My Name is Katie and I graduated in 2003 from the International Academy of Design and Technology here in Tampa with my Associate of Science in Interior Design. Since completing my degree I have worked in a variety of areas in the Design field. Most of my experience has been in the Window Covering Industry where I have spent about 5 years woking within the field including the experience of Running my own Home Business, K. Liz Interiors in Columbia, Missouri. During this time I worked with a variety of home and business clients helping them with everything from window covering product and color selections to pricing and supervision of installation. I have also in my experience worked in Furniture Sales and Design as well as floor planning. My goal for this blog was to pass on some knowledge to help in getting you started with your Window Covering Design project. There are so many products and ideas to choose from so make sure you look at all that is available. I know how stressful design projects can be when you dont know much about what you are working with so its always important to ask for help if you have questions.
